Goldie is a breath / heart sound (BHS) simulator which is designed to teach students how to properly perform auscultation. Instructors are able to select various realistic sound scenarios, giving students the opportunity to gain experience in listening to a dog’s heart and lung with a stethoscope. This Canine Breath/Heart Sound Simulator includes a new digital sound system that uses data collated from actual patients. Five custom speakers are fitted directly into the canine manikin. Instructors can access the digital sound library via our website using a mobile phone, tablet, or computer. When you purchase the new Goldie manikin, you will be required to create an account on our website. A single set of login credentials can be used on up to four devices, allowing multiple instructors access to all available sound scenarios.
