DIANTHUS barbatus FLORA PEARL SCARLET improved version of Flora series, more uniform. Form a carrot rosette of wide lancet-shaped leaves, which lie in multiple layers, with which they hibernate and from which in the spring the flower stalks grow up. The flowers remain small and scented slightly herbal to carnations., however, they form dense screens, sometimes also sideshields under the main bloeiwijze: they fall on by their number and build up. The flower stalks are about 30 cm long. The flowering begins in June and lasts for four weeks. If they are slightly in the shadows, they bloom until the autumn, although fewer flowers are coming.
